Prof. (Dr.) R. Chandrashekhar is a renowned health care professional, architect and teacher all rolled into one. He retired from Government service as the Chief Architect of Central Design Bureau for Medical and Health Buildings, Ministry of Health & F W, Govt. of India, in 2014 and since then he has pursued his passion of inspiring young healthcare professionals to continuously think and rejig existing models of health science and hospital design, public buildings, institutional buildings etc.

In his 30+ years long career in leadership roles in the domain of Planning & Design of various Hospitals, Medical colleges and Healthcare Infrastructure projects, he has held advisory roles to the Government of India on many technical and policy issues.

He is a graduate from India’s one of the top most college--Sir JJ College of Architecture Mumbai and holds a Ph.D. from B.I.T.S Pilani. Dr. Chandrashekhar has been an active advocate throughout his distinguished career for relentless learning via teaching as well as continuous up skilling. He has been a participant in the much acclaimed course on “Building Design & Engineering Approach to Airborne Infection Control” at the prestigious Harvard School of Public Health, Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Chandrashekhar has also been WHO Fellow at the Medical Architecture Research Unit (MARU) at South Bank University, London, UK. He also holds several faculty positions at prestigious institutions in India and abroad. He is a:

Vinod Kumar Sekar is the co-founder and the driving force at the Air Indoor Assessment Pvt. Ltd. He is passionate about quality and obsessive about attention to detail – especially when people’s health is involved at large. He leads and supports his team as a mentor, catalyst, motivator while they deliver the bespoke service and air quality you deserve.

Mr. Vinod previously served as Executive Director at Greensol Synergies Pvt. Ltd. where he led the technical development and research, as to, how to properly assess the air quality in today’s ever degrading environment whether outside or indoors and how to mitigate the issues at the microbial level by giving apt solutions to our well served customers.

He holds M.S in Microbiology and has several published research papers in various national & international journals to his credit & held seminars on the issues related to the indoor air quality & their solutions, along with that he also underwent training on various air quality standards in France & Belgium.

For the past 8 years he is into Aerobiology segment and a member for the R&D unit, who develops innovative and unique microbiology tools.

It’s not all about work, Mr.Vinod enjoys travelling and socializing with the people around so as to better understand their cultural values and ethos and to serve them with healthy & effective air quality. He is a great lover of movies and fond of music too.

B K Prakash the Co-founder and Director of AIAPL, having more than two decades of on-field work experience related to the work safety & quality in industry, with expertise in OSHAS. Currently he is fully involved in air quality audits, training and consultancy based on his vast, industry specific, on field, in-depth knowledge and competence in the field of indoor air quality.

Mr. B K Prakash’s habit and instinct of perfectionism allows no quality errors in the eminent work done by him and his team. He has a persona which makes today’s uphill task of maintaining a healthy lifestyle both at the work place & at home a bit too easy. He along with his team of able and well equipped professionals can take up the challenges facing the corporates and their health, by properly assessing their specific occupational health and safety needs.
